Such standards require the checking of size & definition etc.

These gauges are constructed from senior stainless steel and appropriate steel with a hardness of at least 60 HRC and a roughness

according to standard require.

Each gauge is supplied with a certificate of calibration.

Go and not go gauge A for caps PG13&PGJ13

Purpose: To check the contact section of caps PG13, PGJ13 and PGJ19
Testing: It shall be possible, without using undue force, to insert the gauge into the contact section of
a PG13, PGJ13, PGJ19-1, PGJ19-2 or PGJ19-3 cap until surface Y of the gauge is seated on the rim of the
lamp cap.
It shall not be possible to insert the gauge into the contact section of a PGJ19-4 or PGJ19-5 cap.

Go gauge B for caps PG13 PGJ13
Purpose:

To check caps PG13 and PGJ13 for fit into mounting hole.

Testing:

It shall be possible, without using undue force, to insert the cap into the gauge until surface X
of the cap is seated on the surface of the gauge.

Note-All lead-in corners shall be rounded off or slightly chamfered.

Go and not go gauge for caps PG13 and PGJ13.
Purpose:

To check the barrel length of caps PG13 and PGJ13.
Testing:

It shall be possible, without using undue force, to insert the Go end of the
gauge between the reference plane and surface X of the cap, except at stop.
It shall not be possible to insert the NOT GO end of the gauge between the reference plane and surface X of the cap.
