Standard description (IEC60068-2-75):
Figure A.1 shows the striking element applicable to energy values of equal or less than 1J. In this case, the impact face should be made of polyamide with a hardness as specified in Table 1 .
Figures A.2, A.3 and A.4 show the striking elements applicable to energy values of 2J, 5J and 10J, respectively. In these cases the impact face should be made of steel with properties, including hardness, as specified in Table 1 .
Figures A.5 and A.6 show the striking elements applicable to energy values of 20 J and 50J, respectively. In these cases, the impact face should be made of steel with properties, including hardness, as specified in Table 1 . In these cases, to comply with the other parameters of Table 1 , it is necessary to hollow out the end opposite to the striking face.
Every edge shall be smoothed.
The tolerances are as per class m of ISO 2768-1 , unless otherwise stated.
